How do I install Path Catalog Health?
Install it from the Shopify App Store. It lands on the free preview plan and scans your top 25 products automatically - no setup, no credit card.
How long does the first scan take?
About 2-3 minutes for the free preview. The dashboard fills in as products complete, so you can start reviewing right away.
Do I need to prepare my images first?
No. The app audits your product images exactly as they are in Shopify and tells you what needs attention.
Audits & scores
What does the audit check?
Each product is scanned across six areas: variant image matching, image order & flow, product image coverage, image issues & duplicates, image SEO & alt text, and image quality & polish.
How is the health score calculated?
Every product gets a score from its results across the six areas, and the catalog score rolls them up - so you can see overall health and which products drag it down.
Does it re-audit when my catalog changes?
Yes. New products and image changes are picked up and re-audited automatically, so scores stay current.
Smart fixes
What can I fix in one click?
Variant-to-image mapping, gallery order, duplicate or incorrect images, and image SEO & alt text. Review a fix per product, or select many products and apply in bulk.
Will anything change without my approval?
No. Nothing is applied until you click apply. Bulk apply only includes high-confidence recommendations; anything uncertain is left for you to review.
Can I undo a fix?
Yes. Fixes are standard Shopify product edits, so you can adjust or revert them from the app or your Shopify admin at any time.
Pro edit orders
What do pro edits cover?
Image quality and polish work that software shouldn't retouch: background cleanup, retouching, color correction, shadows, and ghost mannequin - done by Path Edits' professional editors.
How does delivery work?
Edited images come back within 24 hours. You review them side by side in the app, approve the ones you want, and they publish straight to Shopify - no downloads or uploads.
How much do pro edits cost?
Standard edits are $1.19 per image, and the exact total is shown before you confirm an order.
Plans & billing
What does the free preview include?
A full audit of your top 25 products with health scores, recommendations, and a monthly allowance of fixes - free for as long as you like.
What do paid plans add?
Bigger catalogs and higher limits: Growth ($49/month) covers up to 250 products, Pro ($149) up to 1,000 with automation and bulk workflow, and Scale ($499) up to 5,000.
How am I billed?
Everything - plans and pro edits - goes through Shopify billing and appears on your regular Shopify invoice. No separate payment details needed.
